Pope Francis embraced 10 young self-identified Christian refugees from Nigeria during his general audience Wednesday.
The refugees, who crossed the desert in Africa and then supposedly survived six months of forced labour in Libya before reaching the Sicilian island of Lampedusa, have been living for the past four months in a seminary in Fiesole.
